Moving to Tampa Bay?

Tampa Bay is home to around 4 million residents and hoasts upwards of 60 million tourists each year. Here are just a few reasons why we live where other people vacation!

Best Cities Lists

The cities in Tampa Bay continually make the top cities lists year after year with the access to active lifestlyes and idyllic beaches.

Wallethub not only recently named Tampa the best city to retire, but rated them #3 in the country for an active lifestyle. Money Magazine dubbed Tampa the best city in the southeast.

Premier Sports Teams

Tampa Bay is home to 3 time Stanley Cup finalists Tampa Bay Lightning, who only lost out in the finals this year to the Seahawks.

St Petersburg is home to the 2010 division champion team Tampa Bay Rays.

And finally the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who were the superbowl champions in 2002. Their stadium in the heat of Tampa can hold nearly 66,000 fans.

Beaches, Beaches Everywhere!

Tampa Bay is home to some of the best beaches in Florida – Clearwater was voted number 1 beach in the US by Tripadvisor.

For a more low key experience try Caladesi State Island Park in Dunedin, voted #2 best beach by Coastal Living or Fort De Sota which was named #4 by the same publication.

The beaches are home to many watersports including stand up paddleboarding and ocean kayaking as well as motorized fun with jet skis and even speedboats available for hire.

Talking of enjoying the ocean scenery, Yacht Starship hosts nightly dinner cruises and departs from the Channelside area of Tampa.

History

Tampa wouldn’t be the same without the historic Ybor area, home to Naviera Coffee Mills, founded in 1921 and still family owned and operated today. Ybor hoasts many Latin and Hispanic festivals throughout the year.

So one question remains…are you ready to make Tampa Bay your home?
